Kim (Lea) Adam is an illustrator, paper artist, graphic designer currently based in Berlin.
Although she was born in Munich, she is now living in Germany for the first time.
Kim grew up in Paris where she lived for 8 years and then moved to Singapore living here for another 8 years.
At the age of 5, Kim started to draw her childhood heroes from her favorite children’s books and transferred them onto large scale sheets of paper to transform them into “real-life heroes” by drawing them in life-size.
Art has always played a major role during her childhood and the passion has only grown fonder ever since.
The large amount of detail in her work allow the viewer to venture into a whole new world.
As well as drawing with pen and ink on a piece of paper, she also loves to create digital art by using software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Cinema 4D.
The inspiration finds her in her sleep at night, which is why she always keeps
a notebook on her bedside table to plot the ideas down to remember them at the crack of dawn.
Kim specializes in content creation, packaging design, stop-motion animations, creating visual content for newspapers and magazines and general illustrations for editorial use.
